On the 26th of August 2025, in the Auditorium Novum hall of the Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology, meetings were held to inaugurate the 2025/2026 school year with the directors of public and non-public schools and educational institutions from the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship.

The event also served as an opportunity to sign a cooperation agreement between the Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology and the Local Education Authority (LEA) in Bydgoszcz. The document outlines the framework for collaboration in the field of education and science, including:

• organizing joint trainings and conferences,
• searching for and exchanging innovative solutions in the field of education,
• promoting and disseminating research findings,
• designing and implementing joint initiatives.

The agreement was signed by the Rector of the Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology, Prof. Marek Adamski, and the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Superintendent of Education, Grażyna Dziedzic.

During the event, the official presentation of the Brand Book of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Superintendent of Education and the Board of Education in Bydgoszcz also took place. The Brand Book was created by Kamil Skałecki, a visual marketing specialist from the Information and Promotion Department of the university. The logo itself was selected through a competition for the design of the graphic sign of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Superintendent of Education, won by Michalina Górecka, a student of School Complex No. 2 in Golub-Dobrzyń.

“The cooperation between the Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology and (LEA) is a step towards modern education, combining science with school practice,” emphasized Prof. Marek Adamski, Rector of the Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology.

The signed agreement forms the foundation of long-term collaboration aimed at the development of education and strengthening the role of science in the region.
