- I am aware that good, creative work deserves not only recognition and respect, but also proper remuneration, which we must gradually increase. I would like to implement new solutions in the field of incentive benefits. I am thinking in particular of our scientists declaring work in evaluated disciplines. People actively conducting research, applying for projects, publishing, acquiring partners must be well remunerated. I would like them to receive even several thousand zlotys in addition to their salary - in proportion to their achievements. This mechanism will be an impulse for the development of the research area of our university, the commercialization of research results and will encourage young people to start a scientific career at the Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology - said prof. Marek Adamski.

The Rector of the University of Science and Technology summed up the activities of the university in his speech. He pointed out that the University is implementing one of the largest investment programs in history, the value of which will exceed PLN 100 million this year alone, and an additional PLN 100 million over the next several months. He also emphasized that people are the greatest capital. - The measure of the university's development is above all the Human. Everything else, every project, investment effort or organizational changes, must be subordinated and conducive to people's development. We are trying to create such a place at the Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology, which is supposed to be friendly to employees and students - said prof. Marek Adamski.
