Kujawy welcome to... art and design - this is the title of the project implemented at the Faculty of Design of the Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology. Thanks to funds granted by the National Agency for Academic Exchange, lecturers from the most creative faculty at our University want to familiarize foreign students with Polish culture, art, traditions and customs.

- Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology is a university open to foreign students. Each year, up to 200 foreigners stay at our university as part of the Erasmus+ program. We want to show them the beauty of Bydgoszcz and the region, introduce our culture and art, and look for points of contact with the customs of students from outside Poland. Certainly, despite apparent cultural differences, it will turn out that we have more in common than what divides us, and getting to know each other will be a valuable experience for all of us - says Assoc. Prof. Katarzyna Tretyn, project manager.

- As part of the project, a number of workshops are planned for the next calendar year. We will start with our flagship activity, i.e. wicker workshops, led by PhD. Piotr Tołoczko from the Department of Interior Design. Then we have Land art workshops on the Bydgoszcz Canal and Kujawy folklore on the campus in Fordon - reveals Agata Bukaluk.
