Due to the change of the establishing entity, the Multi-Specialty Municipal Hospital has a new statute and a new name. The agreement on changing the establishing entity was signed on November 8, 2024. The consent to transfer the hospital to the Bydgoszcz University of Technology was previously given by local councilors. In accordance with the regulations, a new statute of the clinic was adopted and the facility changed its name to the Clinical Hospital. Dr. E. Warmiński of the Bydgoszcz University of Technology.

Raising the rank of the hospital from a district hospital to a clinical one creates new opportunities for the development of infrastructure and the development of medical staff. The basic task of the clinic does not change. The facility must serve patients as best as possible, while also being a place for future doctors to acquire knowledge and practice  – says prof. Marek Adamski, rector of the Bydgoszcz University of Sciene and Technology.

The hospital has a dissection room for proper anatomy, modernized by the University of Science and Technology and equipped with modern equipment. The clinical base for the Medical Faculty of PBS is also provided by other hospitals in the city and region, including the 10th Military Clinical Hospital, the Hospital of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration in Bydgoszcz and the Oncology Center in Bydgoszcz.

In October 2024, a group of 60 students out of 847 candidates entered the recruitment process. Research commissioned by the Bydgoszcz City Hall indicates that teaching medicine at the Public Health Center is, according to residents, one of the most important priorities for the city's development, right after the construction of the S10 road.
