On July 12, 2023, in the presence of the Vice-President of LAFARGE and the Rector of the Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology, two agreements were signed.

The first concerns the extension of the existing cooperation with the didactic and student part for all faculties of our University. Its elements include introducing the Lafarge product offer into the didactic process of the Bydgoszcz University of  Science and Technology, implementing a scholarship program, student internships, an internship program for the most talented students, competitions for diploma theses and study visits. There are also plans to organize competitions, e.g. in small architecture design, mechanics, electrical engineering, automation and chemical technology.

The second agreement concerned a donation of 100 000 zloty for the Faculty of Telecommunications, Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. The Faculty will receive SIEMENS equipment (controllers, HMI panels, expansion modules, power supplies) for the newly established Industrial Automation Laboratory. All students of the faculty will be able to use it. Part of the donation will be used for the design and implementation of the student leisure zone, which will be built between the halls A1 and A4.
