On Monday 3rd of March 2025, Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology hosted representatives of universities from the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, representatives of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Development Fund, as well as Olgierd Dziekoński, former Secretary of State in the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland.

The meeting concerned the establishment of the Entrepreneurial Discovery Process bodies in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship; members of the Economic Development Council, the Specialist Expert Panel and the Working Groups for Smart Specializations.

The tasks of the aforementioned bodies will be to analyze the selected regional Smart Specializations, search for economic niches and development opportunities, as well as develop solutions for the economic development of the province in cooperation between science, companies, local government and institutions.

The Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology has nominated its representatives to each of the bodies. The approval of the candidacies by the Board of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship will take place by 31st of March,  2025.
