Project ATENA - third edition
28 June 2023

On June 26-30 2023, the third and last edition of the ATENA project is held at the Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology, the aim of which is to show artificial intelligence as an excellent tool for solving various problems. We received funding for the implementation of the project from the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange. Thanks to this, we were able to invite students from abroad to Bydgoszcz and prepare interesting and practical classes on artificial intelligence for them - explains Agata Giełczyk, project coordinator.

All editions were attended by over 40 participants representing 8 countries from 3 different continents. During their stay in Bydgoszcz, students develop various skills, primarily those related to programming and machine learning, but also teamwork and presentation techniques. While working in groups, students are supported by trainers, who are mostly employees of the Faculty of Telecommunications, Computer Science and Electrical Engineering of PBŚ. Together, they implement projects based on machine learning: from image processing through cyber security to medical data analysis.
