On September 11–12, 2025, the Editorial Board of the Journal of Central European Agriculture (JCEA)  convened at the PBS Faculty of Animal Breeding and Biology. The Croatian team was represented by Prof. Zvonimir Prpić, editor-in-chief of the journal. The event was also attended by representatives of the Romanian team: Prof. Mirela Cordea and Prof. Mignon Sandor, as well as delegates from other countries: Prof. Branislav Gálik (Slovakia), Prof. Jože Verbič (Slovenia), and Prof. Károly Dublecz (Hungary).

Members of the Polish editorial team present at the meeting included Assoc. Prof. Magdalena Stanek (chairwoman), Assoc. Prof. Anna Figas, Assoc. Prof. Beata Głowińska, Dr. Dorota Wichrowska, and Dr. Magdalena Tomaszewska-Sowa. PBS was represented by the Vice-Rector for Science and Evaluation, Assoc. Prof. Łukasz Skowroński.

The meeting focused on the exchange of experiences and discussions about the future and development of the publishing activities of JCEA. Topics discussed included refining the review process and improving the quality of published articles.
