What is a doctoral school?
The aim of the Doctoral School operating at Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology is to educate doctoral students and support them in preparing a doctoral dissertation and obtaining a doctoral degree.
The education process provides doctoral students with comprehensive knowledge, developing their skills and social competences necessary to conduct research and prepare a doctoral dissertation. Completing the Doctoral School is equivalent to obtaining learning outcomes at the 8th level of the Polish Qualifications Framework. The learning outcomes obtained will be helpful in future research work in academic units or research and development departments of enterprises.
Support in the preparation of the doctoral dissertation provided at the Doctoral School consists in coordinating research work carried out as part of the Individual Research Plan, i.e. the schedule for the preparation of the doctoral dissertation, formulated by the doctoral student and their supervisor.
