The conference participants heard inspiring plenary lectures:  PhD Dorota Wichrowska "How science changes our food..." and PhD Natalia Miler "Vertical farms - gardening of the future", and listened to numerous presentations by students from various research centers on the latest research in the field of plant and animal biotechnology, microbiology and related sciences.

The topics submitted to the conference were also presented in the form of posters during the poster session.

During the conference, the final of the 3rd edition of the "Structures of Nature" art competition, addressed to high school students, took place. This year's theme was the chromosome. As many as 30 works made using various techniques were submitted to the competition, which could be seen by the conference participants." The XXIII Conference "Biotechnology at the Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology and the Challenges of the Modern World" is behind us! Organized by the Faculty  of Biotechnology at the Bydgoszcz University of Science andTechnology and the BioX Biotechnology Scientific Club from the Faculty of Agriculture and Biotechnology at the PBS.
