On February 24, 2023, the official opening of the new didactic building of the Bydgoszcz University of Technology took place.
After two years of construction, the university gained over 4,600 m2 of modern educational space, including several teaching rooms and laboratories, and an assembly hall for several hundred people. The facility is equipped with over 250 computer sets. The new infrastructure will be used by employees and students of all PBŚ faculties. The building also houses the Foreign Languages Study and the Central Dean's Office, where you can arrange all matters related to studying, from obtaining a student ID to receiving a diploma. The building has been adapted to the needs of people with disabilities.

The value of the investment is nearly 49 million zł, of which over 35 million zł comes from the Ministry of Education and Science, and 9 million zł from the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship Self-Government. The amount of about 4.5 million zł is the university's own contribution.

On December 20, 2020, the Minister, represented by prof. dr hab. Włodzimierz Bernacki, Secretary of State and Rector of the University, prof. Marek Adamski signed an agreement granting a subsidy from the Ministry of  7 million zł to co-finance the implementation of the investment entitled Construction of the University of Sciencve and Technology sports hall. The total cost estimate is 28 million zł.

The sports hall constituting the Academic Sports Center will be an integral part of the entire facilities located on the Fordon campus of the University of Science and Technology in Bydgoszcz, at Al. prof. S. Kaliskiego 7. The construction of a modern sports hall, the Academic Sports Center, is intended to encourage the academic community to improve physical activity through access to various sports disciplines. The planned investment will allow implementing of the curriculum and conducting of compulsory physical education classes.
