Today, at the Faculty of Telecommunications, Computer Science and Electrical Engineering of PBS, a training session titled “AI on the Edge” was held in collaboration with STMicroelectronics NV. During the workshop, participants had the opportunity to explore the practical applications of artificial intelligence on STM32 microcontrollers, without the need to transfer data to the cloud. The process of creating AI-based applications was automated using the NanoEdge AI Studio tool.As part of the hands-on session, participants developed and tested an “Anomaly Detection” project on a Nucleo-G476RG board equipped with the X-Nucleo IKS4A1 expansion module. The experiment utilized MEMS sensors, including a 3-axis accelerometer and a gyroscope.Special thanks go to STMicroelectronics, and in particular to Mr.Bartosz Boryna, for conducting the training and providing the equipment.
