On the 19th of February 2025, the Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology 
signed a letter of intent with the  prof Franciszek Łukaszczyk Oncology Center in Bydgoszcz. 

The Oncology Center was represented by its director, prof. Ph.D. n. 
med. Janusz Kowalewski, and Vice-Rector od PBS for Development Szymon Różański ASSOC prof

The declared cooperation concerns activities at the Faculty of Construction,
Architecture and Environmental Engineering in the field of consulting and
teaching in the field of Environmental Engineering through the possibility
of using the technical potential of the Independent Public Health
Care Facility, including the Medical Waste Disposal Facility. 
The signed letter of intent also assumes the implementation of joint 
research in the field of engineering and master's theses and
the organization of joint scientific meetings, seminars, symposia and conferences.

On the part of the Oncology Center, the meeting was also attended 
by the Director of Logistics BSc.Mirosław Stawicki and the Head
of the Medical Waste Utilization Plant, M.Sc. Eng. Tomasz Kasiorek.
The Faculty of Construction, Architecture and Environmental Engineering
was represented by the Dean of the Faculty Maciej Dutkiewicz Assoc.Prof 
with PhD Jolanta Cichowska, Head of the Department of Environmental Engineering.
