We are officially commencing the two-day celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology.

Event Program:

21th of October, 12:00 PM – Ceremonial Meeting of the Faculty Council, unveiling of a commemorative plaque dedicated to Prof. Józef Szala, followed by a gathering of staff and invited guests.
22nd of October, 11:00 AM – The 511th Open Meeting of the Senate of Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology, during which Professor Józef Gawlik, will be awarded the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology.

Our University’s history began in 1951 with the founding of the Faculty. The establishment of the Faculty and the then Evening School of Engineering also initiated the development of higher education in Bydgoszcz.
