The Minister of Science and Higher Education took part in the ceremony.

"I am glad that the development of Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology brings together many communities and involves the city and provincial authorities. As a ministry, we will also support the university's activities. In a dozen or so months, during the opening of the sports complex, I will be happy to play tennis here", Dariusz Wieczorek said.

An outdoor sports zone will be built on the symbolic cornerstone, including a football field, basketball courts, beach volleyball courts, an athletics zone, tennis courts and a shooting range. Construction works will be completed in the first quarter of 2025. The investment value is approximately 42 million PLN. We are gradually expanding and modernizing the university's infrastructure. We create a friendly space for students and employees, a space open to the residents and business environment. I am glad that Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology has so many ambassadors. I would like to thank the Bydgoszcz authorities for providing the land for the construction of ACS.
